John is back in Roanoke Memorial Hospital this week. He began to have some complications this past Saturday, had several tests completed and after a chest x-ray last week revealed his chest was clear, other tests showed he had an infection. Earlier this week the test results concluded John had an infection caused by a chest catheter. His blood pressure dropped severely while in the hospital and was feeling quite poorly so RMH sent him to ICU and ultimately had the catheter removed. Yesterday he was feeling much better and the family hopes he will be moved out of ICU today and hopefully return home in the next couple days.
I am sure John is looking forward to getting back home and getting his therapy back on track. Although lately he has been feeling as though he is not making the progress he'd like to see, we all see how he has progressed since being home. Everyone's kind and encouraging words have been very motivational to John during his recovery. Keep up the good work! John needs all the encouragement he can get to keep him headed towards recovery.
Thanks everyone.
