A little late posting this... John's surgery last night went well and he is resting today. The family was able to see him for a few minutes late last night when he arrived back in his ICU room. Vitals look good and blood pressure is strong. As the surgeon told us last night, we're obviously back to a wait-and-see period to see John's reaction and recovery from the surgery.
More later... Hopefully we'll get some good news today as the staff checks in on John throughout the day.
